    Join the Tactical Space Systems Division in a challenging and rewarding role as a **Principal/Senior Principal Mission Analysis Systems Engineer** . Support small-to medium-class space vehicles enabling scientific research, weather, and national security across Low Earth Orbit at our **Gilbert, AZ** campus. This role encompasses complex and cutting-edge system level mission analysis of space vehicles using STK and Matlab simulations. These simulations are used to drive overall mission and vehicle design, Concepts of Operations (CONOPS), develop delta-V budgets, and create detailed space vehicle systems performance models involving power, attitude, propulsion, communication, payload and thermal sub-systems.

    Responsibilities include:

    + Develop and maintain a suite of high-fidelity orbital and vehicle simulation and modeling tools

    + Create software tools for satellite mission modeling, with emphasis on orbital mechanics and satellite systems which can include attitude, power, propulsion, communications, payload and thermal modeling

    + Simulation and analysis to assess space mission architecture and/or providing alternatives for delivering a Customer mission effect

    + System-of-systems trades for space missions

    + Working with mission level partners to accurately model mission level elements

    + Propellant budget analyses, on-orbit fuel requirements, and mission lifetime estimates
