At Meta Reality Labs, our goal is to explore, innovate and design novel interfaces and hardware subsystems for the next generation of virtual, augmented, and mixed reality experiences. We are looking for a skilled and motivated Research Scientist to join our team, whose mission is to create the future of soft, wearable technology. We are specifically looking for a candidate with experience in modeling and optimization of energy transport across human tissues and who can work with a team of researchers who are enabling new architectures for wearables. **Required Skills:**

Hardware Research Scientist, Modeling and Simulation Responsibilities:

1. Derive governing equations for multi-physics processes and solve the equations with analytical or numerical methods.

What You Will Do

As a BIM (Revit – Virtual Design Construction) Modeler you will be responsible for providing modeling efforts for both project delivery and standards. This role will generate content for Prime Controls VDC team to utilize in a variety of ways, including but not limited to construction sequence planning, proposals, shop drawings, spooling, pre-assembly and pre-fabrication efforts, safety orientations, and task planning. The position will report to and receive direction from project BIM team members and the various project-level management teams.

A Typical Day at Prime Controls

+ Receive, process, and archive of model files from designers, Prime Controls staff and trade subcontractors.

+ Development of model components from ideas to prototypes, shop/approval drawings and jigging/assembly concepts through production-grade delivery.

+ Assist in the development of sequencing and assembly steps and communication of these steps to stakeholders graphically (4D).

+ Creation of bill of materials/cut lists and support of pricing and estimating efforts (5D).

+ Perform QC review of work personally produced prior to issue to other teams and assist in QA review of work produced by other modelers within the team.

+ Facilitate the exchange and coordination of the 3D model elements with field fabricators.

+ Participate in technological collaboration between Prime Controls project team members.

What You Will Bring

The Basic

+ 2-5 years’ experience in architectural, engineering or construction (AEC) industry or similar experience in a relevant Manufacturing industry with a focus on production modeling and detailing using 3D model objects.

+ Advanced knowledge and proficiency using Revit.

+ Working knowledge of Navisworks Manage clash detection.

+ Strong verbal, written and electronic communication skills for responding to information requests and tasks.

+ Work schedule must be flexible to allow extended periods of overtime or off-shift work to accommodate changing construction sequences.

The Preferred

+ Experience in electrical construction, routing conduit, National Electrical Code and Client Specifications.

+ Understanding of building controls systems, Instrumentation and Controls, Hazardous Production Material, Life Safety, and fire alarm systems.

Fab Sort Manufacturing (FSM) is responsible for the production of all Intel silicon using some of the world's most advanced manufacturing processes in fabs in Arizona, Ireland, Israel, Oregon and 2 new greenfield sites in Ohio and Germany. As part of Intel's Integrated Device Manufacturer 2.0 (IDM2.0) strategy, FSM is rapidly expanding its operation to deliver output for both internal and foundry customers with state-of-the-art technologies arriving in High-Volume Manufacturing (HVM) at a 2-year cadence going forward. Intel recently created HVM Global Yield organization in FSM to strengthen its yield operation and enable fast-paced yield ramp-up in early HVM phases for each technology in collaboration with Technology Development team and FSM fab managers.

This job requisition is to seek a Senior Yield Modeling Engineer for our FSM HVM Global Yield organization, reporting to the Yield Modeling team manager. Selected candidates will work with other members in Global Yield org including Process Integration, Device and Defect engineering teams, fab module/yield teams and TD team members to achieve yield ramp-up and process optimization in early production stage, supporting internal and external customers.

**Senior Yield Modeling Engineer's responsibilities include (but not limited to):**

+ Develop, maintain and update yield model to predict production line yield accurately in early stage of Si progression and deliver proposals to benefit production yield.

+ Develop new yield modelling methods and algorithms to deliver world class yield predictability and machine-learning solutions in high-volume manufacturing environment.

+ Collaborate with Data Science team to incorporate large-volume yield, defect, parametric and manufacturing data into yield modelling.

Description:

We are seeking an experienced Revit modeler and AutoCAD drafter who will work with a multi-disciplinary team of peers and mentors with a wide rate of experience levels. This is a mid-level position for applicants with experience in creating Revit models and performing AutoCAD for creation of construction documents. • Revit family creation.

• Integrating 3D scans into Revit models.

**Overview**

The High-Performance Computing (HPC) Group at PNNL seeks a Ph.D. student intern researcher with a background and interest in building the next generation of HPC systems and workflows. Our ideal candidate will have a drive to contribute to world-leading research, gain experience and an understanding of working at a DOE national laboratory, and contribute to solutions to complex multi-disciplinary projects. We are looking for candidates that could contribute to projects within our ongoing portfolio, covering topics including performance modeling and characterization; large-scale scientific computing; distributed computing incorporating edge, cloud, and HPC resources; energy efficient computing; and generative Artificial Intelligence (AI). The candidate will collaborate closely with laboratory personnel and as part of a team in developing leading research and will engage with computing and domain experts and researchers at collaborating national laboratories, universities, and industry partners. Specific topics of interest include:

+ Novel explorations of continuum and distributed computing for emerging scientific workflows, including but not limited to novel methods for performance and workload characterization, modeling of power and energy efficiency, and models and diagnostic insights from generative AI tools

+ Memory-centric measurement, analysis, and modeling to understand and improve data access patterns, re-locate or re-compose tasks or data to improve locality, and inform hardware-software codesign for novel memory systems

**Responsibilities**

+ Working closely with researchers within the High-Performance Computing group to help shape future computing systems and platforms with mission impact

+ Participating in technical discussions with project team and collaborators
