    This job description is for the position of Computer Network Administrator in support of information systems operations, maintenance, configuration, and documentation related to the IEWTD Threat Instrumentation Test Networks and IEWTD Threat Research and Operations Network (I-TRON) assets.

    The Computer Network Administrator is responsible for designing, accrediting, and administering Closed Restricted Networks (CRN) capability utilizing local DoD servers and workstations including Windows, Linux, Virtual Machines (VM), database management systems such as Oracle or SQL Server, and user workstations in accordance with the authoritative US Government (USG) requirements documents including (but not limited to): DoDD 8140.01, DoDD 8570.01-M, CNSSI 1253, NIST-FIPS199, NIST SP800-53, AR 25-2, DISA Security Technical Implementation Guidelines (STIGs), Computer Network Defense (CND) Directives, Operations Orders (OPORDS), etc.

    Duties include responsibility for day-to-day operation and sustainment of IEWTD Information Systems to include (but not limited to):

    + Maintain any DoD 8570.01 IAT Level 2 required Computing Environment certification(s).

    + Administer servers, workstations, routers, switches, firewalls, IDS/IPS and host-based security systems.

    + Administer Active Directory Domain Services and Group Policy Management

    + End user support for multiple Closed Restricted Networks (CRN) and production networks.

    + Prepare documentation for Risk Management Framework (RMF) accreditation to include review of RMF STIGS and Guidelines, and input to System SOPs, Security Checklists, Network Diagrams, Hardware/Software Lists, and other Body of Evidence for the purpose of obtaining and maintaining System Authority to Operate (ATO).

    + Conduct regular network and system scans, and complete STIG checklists for multiple Closed Restricted Networks (CRN) to ensure systems maintain appropriate security posture and accreditation.

    + Review results from Nessus/ACA/PVT scans and remediate identified vulnerabilities.

    + Apply Operating System (OS) and Software patches to Closed Restricted Networks (CRN).

    + Coordinate with ISSO/ISSM to update plan of action and milestones (POAM) and reflect open vulnerabilities associated with servers, workstations, and network appliances.
