    Grand Canyon University's Facilities department is seeking a fulltime CDL Shuttle Bus Driver Supervisor. The CDL Shuttle Bus Driver Supervisor is responsible for providing and documents vehicle pre-trip interior and exterior inspections before operating vehicle at the start of the shift and reports any vehicle faults. This role will be located on our Main Campus at 33rd Ave and Camelback.

    Schedule: Thursday-Sunday 1pm-11pm

    What you will do:

    + Continuously observe all safety and security procedures and when necessary, determines appropriate action beyond guidelines and immediately reports any potentially unsafe condition.

    + Stay in constant communication via 2-way radio, headset, cellular phone or similar communications service with other drivers to coordinate passenger pick-up and unloading schedules.

    + Provide friendly and courteous service, particularly while transporting passengers, and ensure passengers are delivered to their destination within the time schedule allotted, no matter the weather, traffic, or road conditions.

    + Maintain trip logs which provide details such as passenger count, route details, etc.

    + Observe all Arizona driving regulations and laws, policies, and procedures.

    + Report all motor vehicle or operator infractions or citations for violations of Arizona DMV laws within one (1) working day. Report all accidents, no matter how minor.

    + Report any or suspected mechanical problems to the appropriate party.

    + May require maintaining order and discipline

    + Assist passengers as necessary in boarding and departing the vehicle.

    + Submit to random drug testing.

    + High School diploma or equivalent required

    + Minimum 1-year relevant work experience which includes operating a vehicle transporting passengers.

    + Participates and cooperates in all scheduled training, briefings, and meetings as required by Route Manager.

    + Works closely with Route Managers to improve route efficiencies and identify problem or unsafe accounts.
