THE POSITION:

We are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Electrician Helper. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start their career in the electrical field. As an Electrician Helper, you will work closely with experienced commercial electricians, assisting in the installation and maintenance of electrical systems in various commercial settings.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Assist in the installation of lighting, wiring, and power systems.
* Procure, organize, and handle materials and tools required for electrical projects.
* Ensure that materials are properly stored and readily accessible on job sites.
* Learn to install and connect wiring in accordance with electrical codes.
* Learn to run conduit and pull wire for electrical systems.
* Learn to use testing equipment and tools to diagnose and resolve problems efficiently.
* Assist in troubleshooting electrical issues in commercial buildings.
* Participate actively in safety meetings and maintain a strong commitment to a safe working environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

* High School Diploma or equivalent.
* Basic understanding of commercial electrical systems.
* Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
* Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy objects.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
* Good communication and teamwork skills.
* Ability to work at heights and in various commercial environments.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

* Must be able to reach overhead, lift 75 pounds, and push and pull materials.
* Must be able to work in a variety of positions, e.g., stooping, standing, bending over, sitting, kneeling, etc.
* Work is regularly performed in outdoor weather conditions where temperatures can exceed one hundred degrees.
