**Responsibilities**
Chandler Regional Medical Centers Nurse Extern Program is the only program in the Valley operated by a nationally respected institution where education and research are a central part of what we do and upon which we've built a sterling reputation.
JOIN US NOW as we are seeking a dynamic NURSE EXTERN who, under direct supervision of a Registered Nurse, provides patient care according to the established plan of care, utilizing the nursing process while working closely with the Registered Nurse and healthcare team members and participates in patient, family and staff education as appropriate. Scope of practice based upon advisory opinion issued by Arizona State Board of Nursing.
Located in Chandler, Az, this position is critical to the success of Chandler Regional Medical Center and requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of Dignity Health.

**Qualifications**
**Minimum:**
+ Must have successfully completed Block 1 of Nursing School
+ Current Healthcare Provider AHA BLS completion card
+ Enrolled in accredited and/or AZBN approved BSN or Concurrent Enrollment (ADN/BSN)Nursing Program
+ Two letters of recommendations from clinical nursing instructors ( **required** )
+ Be able to work 1-2 shifts per pay period (2-4 shifts per month) as a casual,non-benefited employee. Days, Nights and Weekends are available.
+ Be able to successfully complete the new hire on-boarding process
**Pay Range**
$14.50 - $19.94 /hour
