**Responsibilities**
Join us now as our Research Dept is seeking a RESEARCH ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR to join our team! Has initiated or contributed substantially to an independent line of original research study that supports one of the organizations scientific research programs. Has the ability to garner peer-reviewed extramural support. Writes and has published peer-reviewed original research reports.
Barrow Aneurysm and AVM Research Center is seeking a research associate professor with experience in preclinical and clinical research of intracranial aneurysms and related conditions. The candidate must have four years or more of research experience in the field of intracranial aneurysm research. In addition the candidate must have experience managing a research lab as a principal investigator or research director. The candidate is expected to have a track record of obtaining extramural research funds. The candidate must be able to conduct microsurgeries and various molecular biological assays independently.
**Qualifications**
Four (4) years of experience following the Ph.D. M.D. or D.SC. degree in a field related to current area of research required. Beyond minimum required experience writing grant applications for support of own work and supervising more junior trainees preferred. Ability to conceive new/innovative ideas. Laboratory skills and techniques execution and development required. Preferred: Proven ability to conceive new/innovative ideas or solutions using good logical and scientific problem solving skills. Must be able to communicate results in oral and written form acceptable to senior research staff. Required: Proficient in computer skills. Mathematical scientific reasoning and oral and written communication expertise adequate to initiate independent work.
**Pay Range**
$40.66 - $58.96 /hour
