**Responsibilities**
The Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) will provide medical nutrition therapy through individualized and/or group sessions in an outpatient or clinic setting. The RDN will perform services to include, but not limited to, assessing nutritional status, developing nutrition recommendations, instructing patients in diet modifications, and providing follow up care as needed. The RDN will be integral to the continuum of care for our patients and community, particularly through their assistance with comprehensive management of patient’s conditions within the scope of the licensure.
+ Conducts and coordinates outpatient nutritional counseling sessions and services, including nutrition assessment, reassessment, group instruction and patient/family education. Follows Medical Nutrition Therapy and performs all duties required by RDN as defined in the scope of practice to ensure that the needs of patients are addressed.
+ Responds to patient inquiries and makes appropriate recommendations and treatment adjustments.
+ Accurately completes required documentation in the EHR, including client notes, participation data, communication logs and progress reports.
+ Communicates with providers and multidisciplinary teams regarding patient problems, needs and progress.
**Qualifications**
**Requirments:**
+ Bachelors Degree and Masters Degree
+ Master’s Degree - Bachelor’s degree from an accredited dietetics program andMasters Degree and Masters degree in nutrition-related field required.
+ Certification as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN)
**Licensure:**
+ CDE - within 1 year
**Pay Range**
$33.60 - $48.73 /hour
