The BAR-B Produce and the University of Arizona offer an on-farm apprenticeship for individuals interested in exploring a career in agriculture. The successful applicant will gain hands-on experience in all aspects of farm operations, including:
- Preseason planning
- Tractor operation
- Greenhouse management
- Irrigation
- Field preparation
- Planting
- Weed and pest control
- Harvesting
- Packaging and shipping

We are seeking a motivated individual seriously considering a future in agriculture. Apprenticeship hours are flexible but may not exceed 20 hours per week. The maximum stipend available for the program is $10,000.
