**Responsibilities**
**Nurse Supervisor – NICU**
As a Nurse Supervisor in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Community Hospital of San Bernardino, you will lead a dedicated team of NICU nurses during your assigned shift, ensuring the highest standards of care for our most vulnerable patients. This role plays a pivotal part in staffing, coordination, and clinical oversight, guiding your team through complex neonatal cases while maintaining a ready and responsive unit environment.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Supervise and support NICU nursing staff during assigned shifts, providing guidance and mentorship in patient care.
+ Assign patients based on acuity and staff skill level to ensure optimal care outcomes.
+ Respond proactively to changing staffing needs and implement emergency protocols as necessary.
+ Maintain accurate documentation and oversee unit readiness, including restocking and shift transitions.
+ Provide ongoing education and assessments to enhance staff competencies.

**Qualifications**
+ Current California Registered Nurse (RN) license required
+ BSN required; Certification in Neonatal Intensive Care Nursing (NCC) preferred
+ Minimum of three (3) years of NICU RN experience, including at least one (1) year in an acute care hospital with a Regional or Community-level NICU
+ One (1) year of experience in an RN Leadership role preferred.
+ STABLE (Sugar, Temperature, Airway, Blood pressure, Lab work, and Emotional support) Certification Preferred
+ Current AHA-BLS and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications

**Pay Range**
$50.39 - $76.21 /hour
