**Responsibilities**

Northridge Hospital Medical Center is seeking a passionate and skilled **Registered Nurse (RN** ) to join our dynamic Medical Surgical Acute Care team. In this vital role, you'll be at the forefront of patient care, using your expertise to coordinate, supervise, and implement evidence-based practices. You'll work collaboratively with a dedicated interdisciplinary team to provide exceptional care and support to our patients and their families.

+ Develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring patient comfort and well-being.

+ Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care.

+ Administer medications and treatments, carefully monitoring patient responses.

+ Provide clear and compassionate communication to patients and their families, actively involving them in their care.

+ Conduct regular patient rounds, proactively addressing their needs and concerns.

+ Supervise and guide other team members, fostering a positive and supportive work environment.

+ Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.

+ Uphold the highest standards of patient safety and ethical practice, adhering to all hospital policies and procedures.

**Qualifications**

+ Registered Nurse with current California License required.

+ Minimum one (1) year current acute care registered nursing experience in specialty area required.

+ Minimum one (1) year recent acute care expereince required.

+ Current certification in specialty area preferred.

+ Experience with EHR (Cerner MediTech etc?) preferred.

+ Current AHA BLS card required.

+ LA City Fire Care required within 90 days of hire.

This position is represented by SEIU L121 and is covered by the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.

**Pay Range**

$50.87 - $72.40 /hour
