**Responsibilities**
Patient Transporter - Make a Difference in Patient Care! We are looking for a reliable and caring Patient Transporter to join our team. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of patients and materials throughout the hospital, contributing to a positive patient experience.
+ Transport patients safely and comfortably via wheelchair or gurney.
+ Assist with patient lifting and movement.
+ Dispatch and coordinate other transporters as needed.
+ Maintain patient safety and follow infection control protocols.
+ Keep accurate records and maintain equipment cleanliness.
+ Participate in training and use proper body mechanics.
+ Transport equipment and supplies.
+ Report equipment issues and safety concerns.
+ Answer phones and pages courteously.
+ Perform other related duties.
**Qualifications**
+ High School diploma or equivalency required.
+ Minimum six months recent work experience in a medical office hospital/ acute care environment required.
+ AHA BLS certification required.
+ Fire Safety Card within 90 days of hire.
This position is represented by SEIU UHW and covered by the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.

$23.00 - $25.20 /hour
