Requirements:

+ Valid Registered Dental Hygienist license in Arizona

+ Current CPR certification

+ Strong interpersonal and communication skills

+ Commitment to providing high-quality, thorough dental care

Responsibilities:

+ Ability to educate patients on the importance of oral hygiene, with effective instruction and demonstrations

+ Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and root planing as needed

+ Conduct initial patient screenings and review dental/medical histories

+ Take and interpret dental radiographs (X-rays)

+ Educate patients on effective oral hygiene techniques, preventive care, and lifestyle choices that impact oral health

+ Apply preventive materials such as fluoride and sealants as needed

+ Assess and document patients' oral health status and update treatment plans

+ Maintain a clean and organized operatory, following OSHA and infection control protocols

+ Collaborate with the dentist and other team members to ensure high-quality patient care

+ Provide a positive and compassionate patient experience, addressing questions or concerns
