Robert Half is looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our growing client in the Deer Valley area. The ideal candidate will excel in managing vendor relationships, ensuring invoice accuracy, and maintaining compliance with organizational policies. This role is essential in supporting the company's financial operations and requires a strong ability to process invoices and payments efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Process invoices accurately and in a timely manner while adhering to company standards.

• Review and verify invoice details to ensure proper coding and documentation.

• Conduct regular check runs to ensure payments are issued promptly.

• Maintain organized records of financial transactions and invoice approvals.

• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to resolve discrepancies and inquiries.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to accounts payable.

• Prepare and update reports on payment statuses and accounts payable activities.

• Assist in month-end closing processes related to accounts payable.

• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency in accounts payable workflows.

• Support audits by providing requested documentation and information.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable or a related financial role.

• Proficiency in invoice processing and coding.

• Strong knowledge of check runs and payment processing systems.

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Effective communication skills for vendor and team interactions.

• Familiarity with accounting software SAP B1 a plus
