Description

Robert Half is looking for a detail-oriented File Clerk to join our client in Phoenix, Arizona. In this contract role, you will play a crucial part in managing, organizing, and maintaining both physical and digital files to ensure seamless access and security.

Responsibilities:

• Perform high-volume scanning of legal documents and records with precision.

• Index scanned files accurately into the firm’s digital document management system.

• Organize and maintain physical files, binders, and file cabinets to ensure easy accessibility.

• Shred confidential paperwork in compliance with firm policies and procedures.

• Prepare and transfer closed or archived files to designated offsite storage locations.

• Retrieve and re-file documents upon staff request, ensuring quick and accurate access.

• Verify that all files are properly labeled and stored in the correct order.

• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in file storage areas.

Requirements • Proven experience with paper filing and organizational systems.

• Familiarity with handling file boxes and maintaining physical storage.

• Competency in scanning and digitizing documents accurately.

• Ability to work with document management systems to index and retrieve files.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.

• Skill in managing time effectively to handle high-volume tasks.

• Physical capability to lift and organize file boxes when necessary.

• Previous experience in a similar role within a setting focused on precision and organization is preferred.
