**Responsibilities**
**Position Summary:**
The Construction Laborer is responsible for performing a variety of physical tasks on hospital construction and renovation projects. This role supports the skilled tradespeople and ensures the efficient and safe completion of projects within a healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will be reliable, hardworking, and possess a strong work ethic, with a willingness to learn and follow instructions. This position requires adherence to strict safety protocols and an understanding of the unique sensitivities of working within a hospital setting.
**Qualifications**
**Minimum** **Qualifications:**
+ Experience working in a healthcare environment is a plus
+ Ability to perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods
+ Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs. or more)
+ Ability to operate hand and power tools safely and effectively
+ Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
+ Strong work ethic and a commitment to safety
+ Good communication and interpersonal skills
+ Basic knowledge of construction materials and methods
+ Ability to work in various weather conditions
+ Ability to work in confined spaces
+ Ability to wear required PPE, including hard hats, safety glasses, and respirators
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ High school diploma or equivalent preferred
+ Previous experience in construction labor is preferred, but not required
**Working Conditions:**
+ Construction sites within a hospital environment
+ Exposure to dust, noise, and other construction-related hazards
+ Potential for exposure to infectious diseases
+ May require working evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed

**Pay Range**
$24.00 - $31.33 /hour
