Northrop Grumman Space Systems (NGSP) is seeking a **Staff** **Sy** **stems Engineer Test** for their **Aurora, CO** location. As a part of the Systems Engineering Integration & Test (SEIT) team, an Integration & Test engineer gains an understanding of the Systems Engineering process across a product's lifecycle and gains a full appreciation for how the systems operate.
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Integrator, Test and DevSecOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have the technical expertise to install, integrate, manage, and monitor a multi-use environment that interfaces with several programs. The candidate will play a critical role in supporting IT&D functions within our DevSecOps team, ensuring seamless integration and functionality of various systems.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Install, integrate, manage, and monitor multi-site environments that interact with multiple national programs.
+ Support Linux-based environments and applications developed in C++ and Java.
+ Handle real-time processing, manage large volume data flows, and ensure time-critical applications perform efficiently.
+ Develop, write, and execute comprehensive test plans and procedures.
+ Analyze Interface Control Document, Systems Engineering (SE) documents, and other similar documents from enterprise programs.
+ Support multiple operational and test/development environments.
+ Conduct customer interactions, including briefings and status updates.
**Basic Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's degree and 12 years of relevant experience in IT&D engineering, DevSecOps, or a similar role; 10 years with a Master's; 8 years with a PhD. An additional 4 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
+ Strong experience with Linux systems, especially in supporting C++ and Java applications.
+ Proven ability to manage, support and monitor operational and test/development environments.
+ Background of real-time processing and large-volume data flow management.
+ Competence in developing and writing test plans and procedures.
+ Experience analyzing GICD, SE documents, and similar documentation.
+ Security+ Certification
+ Active Top Secret/SCI clearance w/ CI poly required at time of application
**Preferred Skills:**
+ Background with legacy programs and multi-use integration.
+ Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and principles.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
+ Excellent communication skills for briefings and status updates to customers.
+ Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Salary Range: $155,500.00 - $233,300.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
